I've just finished the debut, self-titled album from Parent - guitarist Jason Brown and singer Rachel Kern. Guitar and vocals recorded in Jason's kids' bedroom, strings arranged by Sarah "Bat-Ears" Brandwood-Spencer and recorded by Pete "Golden-Ears" Whitfield at his Realstrings studio. Mixed by me and Jason at my place and mastered by our friend and Cutting Rooms alumnus Paul "Platinum-Ears" O'Brien at pobaudio. It's out on Fog Lane Records in June.
