Testing, testing…

I’ve just taken delivery of a new / old microphone – a Russian Oktava MK319 bought from eBay for £100, then sent to Michael Joly at Oktavamod in the USA for his ‘Premium Electronics & Floating Dome’ modification. I’m not sure how Michael does it but the mic now sounds beautiful – quite dark but with a very smooth and open top-end. See if you can pick it out from this bunch of big-name studio classics.
